As promised, I'm coming to America within the week. Under the truthful but artfully incomplete explanation of "visiting friends", I shall be dropping in at various points across the nation, including the lovely Portland Oregon. I shall be arriving there on Sept 15 and going home from there on the 21st. Somewhere in between I shall be stopping over at Seattle.

I enjoyed our meeting thoroughly. I suspect that Powell's was a real treat for someone with your background. When I think about it there is something "magickal" happening when two people who have become acquainted through electronic correspondence and live on opposite sides of the world can eventually meet over a table at a coffee house.... grins
