George,
We had a lengthy discussion the other day and touched on this subject. I was wondering if you had those handouts or any other relevant information that might manifest in this forum so that we might learn from it?
Warm Regards,
Ami

Re: General Semantics
Tue, April 8, 2008 - 12:02 PMMay I recommend "Drive Yourself Sane" by Susan & Bruce Kodish as a readable introduction to General Semantics, unlike Korzybski's enormous tome "Science and Sanity," guaranteed to damage your sanity if ever dropped on it from a great height.
Oh and George, I came across this recently. John Magee, well known co-author of one of the standard works of stock price analysis, also, it turns out, wrote a book called "The General Semantics of Wall Street," now republished posthumously as "Winning the Mental Game on Wall Street." Cracking book. I would recommend this even to people who don't bother with financial markets. Who woulda thunk it, eh?
